^ no it didnt offend me, just slightly annoyed me it's just that every one badmouths LGA 1156, like it's some how inferior to the all mighty LGA 1366 platform and that there is no future for LGA 1156.

I wasn't badmouthing it dude, just clearing up a couple of things brough up. LGA 1156 is supposed to have a short life apparently.

If I were building a pc now though, i would be happy to save some on getting a new i5/i7 and spend more on a gpu.

Regardless of performance, i7 sounds cooler than i5, so get it while you can.
