That Rosewill can easily power a quad. And they're reliable on a budget, which he is on. Plus, it's on Ste's mention list.

I would suggest you keep the current build, and just get a new psu and video card. Also, clean out the case. Dust is very harmful to your hardware, and you can kill it with excess amounts.

Yeah its gonna be bottlenecked some, but you said you just want to play games at 1024x768 right? Theres no reason to gout and build a quad system and then play at such a low res.

A cheap brand power supply, no matter how much wattage it has, is a big no no. I would suggest this:

Even the one you have now, which seems to be an FSP Group, is a better brand.

I agree with the above...get a sweet power supply....it powers your whole pc.

I'm about to dust it out now, heatsink and all.
I'll take a new picture of my PSU and Video Card when they arrive.

And sha-zam right after I posted this I powered down and cleaned my PC.
Didn't use any compressed air, a good ole wipe down and complete removal of the fans wiped and replaced.

My video card looks like it has dust on it, but it doesn't! that was a lens flare!

The more I take my PC apart the more excited I am to feel the power of a new card. How many frames do you think I'll be getting now? I get about 20 on COD4 and about 150 on CSS. Will photoshop even run quicker? I need something to look forward to!
