I got my step-up 780i board yesterday and I'm installing everything back onto it. I get to the TRUE and realize that I left the 775 backplate attached to my 680i !! So I had to pay $10 to get the retention kit. Honestly, if I had all the money back I've made from stupid mistakes I could buy another whole computer! Oh well...live and learn, right?

It's not in yet. So I'm using the inefficient (48c idle!) stock hairdryer they call a HSF.

OMG....I get a package from UPS yesterday, it has my EVGA RMA no. on it, open it up and there is my original TRUE backplate! Now that's customer service for you!
