I'm currently selling my car. I want to by my own parts to build a gaming computer. I want to build something that will play Crysis. I been wanting to play this game for a while...but my current computer cant handle it!!.
And to note, I don't know too much about computers...well mainly the insides of them!...can someone help me on newegg.com? I preferably want to stay under $1600-if this is possible...thanks for all the help!
Also 1st time poster, long time viewer!!

Easy... don't expect to max it with all settings on, Crysis is poorly engineered in terms of being over demanding though..

(I'm assuming you don't need a monitor)
Q6600
Asus p5q Pro
HD 4850
4gb DDR2 800
Case/ OP's of Your Preference
640gb Western Digital Drive
Corsair 750tx (if you want to upgrade to two HD 4850's)

These are from anadtech's review of the 4850.

AnandTech: The Radeon HD 4850 & 4870: AMD Wins at $199 and $299

if you are going to do that go ahead and get the gtx+ for $200 better card for same price.

and that depends on your gaming resolution....i doubt any good res will be able to play crisis 60+ fps no matter the setup

If you had two of those, you'd have to change the board I suggested to something else, but I say get two HD 4850's because you can get better boards instead of SLI chipset ones
