i need help deciding!

iam new to all of this computer 'building', but i was wondering which prosesser to go for, intel or AMD. I also want a motherboard which i compatible with pci-e and Agp as well as windows microsoft. The reason why i want a new computer is to play games, surf the net and also to help me with my studing cause im still at school.

Please help me!!

Well, as you have games as one of the uses of your PC id suggest an AMD.

Yeah, but there is only one, I think it is made by Foxconn. I would get the PCIE card though and sell your AGP one if you want to.

AMD is just a different brand of processor, it still runs on the same principles, if you plan on building or upgrading soon just tell us your budget and we can tell you what to get, i would really reccomend getting a solely pci-e motherboard however, as no reliable manufacturers have come out with a good agp&pci-e board
