(Just add the rest of the parts you wanted.....keyboard, mouse, speakers, etc...)

As Sora mentioned before...You do not need to spend all that money on one computer, because it will just be outdated in a couple of months. I suggest spending $1600-2000. You'll still get an awesome computer for that price. Then just upgrade, as new and better components are released.

It would only be neccesary to SLI or Crossfire, if you plan on playing games on a 30" LCD. Other than that, one single 8800Ultra or GTX will do just fine.

b1 to the rescue...!!!
well for the sli config part...isnt ultra in sli unnccessary? wouldnt gtx be good enough.
And im not sure if he mentioned that hes gonna oc...if he is then the q6600 is perfect.

Well he can afford it. But yes, GTX is good enough. Though, I really suggest he go with the build I posted up. Instead of those SLI or Crossfire rigs.

yeh i agree, since new stuff will keep comming out.
And dude, how long did it take for you to get all that!!!

ummm...15 minutes?...I had these list saved on notepad, for some time.

hah i kinda figured that.
Well i always keep looking them up, but im not a person to help ppl out with their builds since i dont really know much.
Well im up early now and im waiting for my stuff to arrive...

^^ thats a very good list. I agree!

B1gapl, its not something I know much about, but the HD: isn't the raptor series where its at in terms of gaming? no space, I know, but still....

Otherwise, 2GB RAM and XP pro 32bit, is, I would say, the way to go for gaming. Vista = rubbish.
