Default I need advice on budget gaming PC.

Is this a good setup for $713.00? I am looking for something that will run the latest games but is also easily upgradable to keep current for a few years. My budget is about $700, I know I could probably do a bit better by building myself, but as far as pre builts go, what do you think about this one?

Not bad for a pre built however do it yourself.

You can get an Athlon X4 Quad Core, 4GB of RAM, a 4870, 500Gb Hard drive, and 630W PSU with 50A for that price though.

That looks pretty good to me.

if you want something easily upgradeable then this would be better,

Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GA-MA770T-UD3P AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard - AMD Motherboards

Newegg.com - G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL7D-4GBPI - Desktop Memory

cause DDR2 is going to be phased out pretty soon. you will not save a whole lot of money going with DDR2 vs DDR3
