I have a tough decision to make. I must choose between two very similar builds...but I don't know which is the better quality/value.

Choice #1

CTL 745FX - CRT 17 inch: Flat + Black
Logitech X-230 2.1 32W Speakers

$1910.18

Choice #2

Asus P5N-E SLI nForce 650i SLI
E6600 Core 2 (2.4GHz)
2GB Corsair DDR2 PC5300 DDR667 (2x1024MB)
NVIDIA GeForce 8800GTS 320MB PCIe
Western Digital Caviar SE 160GB 7200RPM 16MB Cache - SATA II
16X DVD-ROM - Black
750W Ultra Quiet Power Supply
Intel Quiet CPU Cooler
Logitech® X-230 Speakers
SAMSUNG 731B Black 17" 2 ms DVI LCD Monitor

Which would you choose, and why?

Thanks!

I'd go 1 because the case, power supply, and harddrive is better.

If I twisted a few arms and called in a few favors I could probably get someone to help me assemble the parts. But I don't want to do that, I will need customer support and service over the next few years, and I don't want to go pestering my friends or running to the forum everytime I have a problem or something.

The two companies I'm considering have outstanding repuations, great custom craftsmanship, great reviews, excellent people who care. Their Customer Service is not outsourced.

I've got a budget of $2k, so I can afford either.
