Hi, I built my first computer, I took my time and didn't force anything, I also Wore a anti static wriststrap at all times. So when i finally finished i turned it on, to find nothing happened, No fans turning, No noise, No lights nothing. I tryed again with 1 stick of ram, nothing, I took the video card out, nothing , i then took all the fans out apart from cpu fan and still nothing. I can't understand why its not working all the parts are new, The case came with fans, temperature and fan control in 4pin peripheral cables, so i assumed i needed to connect these with the PSU ones.

My spec is :
NZXT Hades Black midi case
gigabyte H55m-s2 m/b
Intel CPU core i5 661 3.33ghz
Adata 4gb 1600mhz DDR3 9-9-9-24
Palit Geforce GTX 460 1gb sonic edition
OCZ StealthXStream 2 600w PSU
LG 22x dvd+R sata
Intel LGA1156 low noise cooler
WD 640gb Caviar blue sata 300 16mb cache 7200rpm hdd

I'v also included some pictures incase you can see a problem:

Thank you in advance.

Yeah psu is deffinatly on,I recived no power in anything its like pushing the power button on a empty case, Im pretty sure Power Sw, Hdd Led, ect is put in correctly, The motherboard instructions however didn't actually tell me which way round they go however - I just put the black wire on the + and i'll try test power supply now, Thanks for the quick response :D

Yeah i used them, I just read something where on the case NZXT Hades, someones computer didn't start up the problem was, The Power switcha nd reset switch was labeled the wrong way round, If i switched them round could i do any damage if there infact labeled correctly?

It shouldn't hurt to try but you could manually trace the wires back to the switches to see which is which.

Hey guys sorry for slow reply, the problem was the reset switch was named power switch and vice versa so that was my problem computer has booted up and works like a dream thanks for all your quick responces

Yeah and I'm enjoying every bit of it, very quite and performance is amazing thanks for all your support
