I'm planning on upgrading my Gigabyte P35-DS3R motherboard (selling it to a friend) but keeping my e6320 for a while. I've pretty much decided where to buy and now only have to decide between 2 similarly priced boards. The Asus P5K-E/WIFI-AP Lifestyle edition (€116.76, dabs.ie) and the MSI P7N Platinum 750i SLi (€116, pixmania.ie). After reading around, I have decided that the 750i is better than the 780i for price/performance, but I'm still not sure bout the 750i/P35 situtation or even the x38 (€€€ )
Opinions.

well the 750i is sli, so get that if you want to sli your 8600's, which would be kind of silly seeing as it would make more sense to get a 8800/9800 series card.

but you can't go wrong with either board, be it 750i, p35 or x38

Well, I'm replacing the 8600gt, I have ordered an EVGA 8800GTS 512 from newegg, just waiting for a cousin to ship it over Ireland. However, I will be overclocking the e6320 even further as I'm finally getting aftermarket cooling so, what board would be best

and the x38 and p35 will be for crossfiring and ATi.

750i would be the p35 and 780i would be the x38.

I think he's saying 750i is the p35 (as the lower end of nVidia) and 780i is the higher end of nVidia as the p35 is the lower end and hte x38 is the higher end
