suggestions welcome. trying not to go over $750
 
Listen to Muffin Man's post, it's very good.
Also, if you want a dedicated graphics card. (785G is good... BUT having a dedicated card would be better if you get a GT 220 or a GT 240 which are both good HTPC choices as they have low profile versions and perform very well, and I believe there are fanless versions of both.)
