Looks cool, decent hardware, overpriced, but hey i kinda like the looks.

Hm... does it seem like the ASUS Striker Extreme is different compared to the ones you would get at retail? There's no sound onboard, I think the sound card on the back is dedicated. Unless the Striker Extreme came with a Sound Card instead of onboard.
