For $10 more get this:

The HIS has been unlocked to 16 pixelpipelines (like an 1800XL) but at stock it'll beat the 7600GT.

heres a look at how it competes with a 7800GT:

and about the sayin with nvidia the "cant go wrong with nvidia" well i got a nvidia and it f***ed up my system.... and i've had ATI all my life..... both companies are good and both have strong points and dont be dissin on ATI now. I have a 6600GT and like korky, i get around 80-90fps in CS:S, i cant wait to see wut i get with a conroe and X1900XT! NO FLAME WARS SHOULD BE STARTED FROM WUT I SAID, BOTH COMPANIES ARE GOOD AND HAVE DIFFERENT STRONG POINTS, LIKE INTEL V AMD!
*Opteron 165 1.8Ghz
*DFI Lanparty UT nF4 Ultra-D
*HIS Hightech X1900XT 512MB w/ Zalman VF900 (Core: 690Mhz, Mem: 1500Mhz)
*G.Skill 1GB DDR 400
*Kingwin Mutant X Series
*HP IDE Lightscribe DVD Burner
*Seagate Barracuda 80GB SATA II
*Maxtor 80GB IDE
*OCZ Gamexstream 600W PSU
