Okay, I would get the AMD 3800+ dual core instead and a compatible motherboard. Plus I would get Corsair or a more known brand. What will you be using the computer for? If its not for gaming then that rig should be fine. But from the video card I figured you would be using it for gaming.

he wants Intel, he thinks its the best...........he'll see his mistake in a bit. if a person is stubborn, let them make mistakes and learn from them.

I don't think it's the best I merely want to get it. Just let me make my mistake. Besides I'm not using it solely for gaming. Other uses are miscellanious though. Besides, I'm kinda tight on money and want to go with the cheaper (while still good) intel processor.

intel's not bad since that processor is about 100 dollars less than a x2 3800+ and delivers average perf and its dualcore.

get that intel processor instead. built on a 65nm manufacturing process and if you oc, people have been hitting 4.0+ on average which should give you a good performance gain. that ram is fine, it has a lifetime warranty so its all good if it ever failed on you. i would reccomend a better mobo tho based on the nforce4 chipset.

i would switch to that vid card. same thing as an X850XTPE. i know someone's gona say get nvidia but if you wanna spend below 140 thats the best card to get. also if you want SM3.0 support the x1600pro isn't gona play games at acceptable framerates so theres no point.
