Default How much will the e6750 cost?

is it gonna cost as bad as the e6700 was when it came out ($516) or will it be cheap!!!

Q6700 2.66 1066 - $ 530
Q6600 2.4 1066 $ 530 $ 266
E6850 3.0 1333 - $ 266
E6750 2.66 1333 - $ 183
E6550 2.33 1333 - $ 163
E6540 2.33 1333 - $ 163

The q6600 will cost the same as the e6850. The e6750 will cost $183

Why release, the e6540, when theres an e6550 for the same price.

edit: Just looked at wiki, and the e6540 will not have the Intel Trusted Execution Technology and vPro support feature, like the other e6x50 processors. So it should be less than $163.

No clue. Never noticed that until you mentioned it. I guess so one could say they have a better cpu cuz their number is higher?

Hmmmm....the E6850 looks really nice for the price. To bad my motherboard is only 1066 FSB, would have to upgrade that. I think I'll just wait until more motheboard natively support DDR3 and the price for the new RAMs goes down. But WTH, for that price the Q6600 would own it.

I'd say, theres not really a reason to get an e6850, when a quad core is the same price, or the e6750 can easily past it's speeds.
