Default How much did your rig cost?

I RMAed a few parts and got some monies back. woo.

Current rig:

CPU X2 3600+ Brisbane 3.1 ghz $67.99
Mobo Foxconn 590 SLI $99.99 (Cancelled cost from RMA)
Soundcard X-fi Gamer Fatal1ty Champion $80 (Cancelled cost from RMA)
HDD Raptor 74gb $60 (Great deal.)
2 x WD 250gb $140
Ram Gskill 2.1v $100.00
Videocard 7950gx2 $320 (OUCH!)
Case Tj-09 $244 (Ouch x2)
Lights, fans, etc. $100

Total = $1211.98

wow. it's amazing how fast the cost blew up.. but if you subtract the videocard and case.. I only spent about 558 on my system!

Oh. And I finally reached 9640 on 3d mark 06!!
will post screenies when I get a chance tomorrow.
I'm going to overclock a bit more (vid card and such.), put my stuff in my new tj case, and see if I can get to 10k ^^

But seriously.. i knew i spent alot on my rig.. but wow... i just spent 500+ on a videocard and a case... AHH

Post your most expensive rig.

When I first built my rig 2 years ago it was $1211 with a 19in lcd and xp pro.

Now, I could build it for $500.

mine, around $700 n i havent had my computer up n running for almost a year now!!!!! I need around $2000 to fix n rebuild my computer, but final budget goal to spend is not final because im still waiting for the Phenom, 790X, n HD 3000 series to come out.

i know sad..........long story short, i couldnt get hired anywhere. Out of 27 applications i sent since August 06 *month i got laid off from Arby's, first job* , i got 4 job interviews (luckily my 4th interview was with Cold Stone, which im still working at but planning on suing later, long story as well).

Current setup costed about $650. I've upgraded parts of the computer over time though. The last cpu I had in was a amd64 3000 which costed $50 more than my current amdx2 3800. So theres more money in it but I'm not using those parts now.
