At least 1,000. I didn't even know they made such huge PSU's. Man those 8800 GTX's are power hogs.

edit: 700?? 450 + 450 = 900 hundred right there... am i mistaken on my power stuff?

if i'm right (which im doubting) you will need more than 1000. 100 watts isnt going to power a CPU (quad core no less), HDD, etc. I always like to throw in a couple extra hundred watts to be safe too. it never hurts. But i've never seen a PSU that big before so i'm doubting my theory.

I've read people have an 850W PSU with GTX's in SLI with no problems... SO I guess gettting a 1K would work just as well... good luck on paying the power bill! LOL

Go here and put in what you're going to use and it will give you a rough estimate.

read this:

http://www.techist.com/showthread.ph...hreadid=131824

do the math...you don't need a thousand watt psu. unless you are going to build a server for citibank or something lol.
as far as suggestions, i couldn't tell ya. my 550w works great for me, but you will need one a little bigger than that.
