Do I have better options for the price or otherwise?

that card only supports dual monitors. If you wanna go with 3 monitors then you'll have to either get a second for sli or get a different card. I think most of the nvidia cards only support dual monitors, and ATI cards support 3+, but I'm not 100% on that.

Sorry about that. Posting this for a friend, he just told me for now he wants to run StarCraft 2 and Battle Field 3 when it releases.

no worries, it'll run the games, but not on the highest settings. what's your friends budget and what are the other components of the computer, specifically the Power Supply.
