You don't want a 6-core CPU for gaming, you'll get no benefit out of it.
Honestly don't know about Hitachi HDDs, I'd stick to a Caviar Black, Spinpoint F3, or Barracuda 7200.12
850w is going to be overkill for the build as-is, even with 2x 6950 you could get by with a 650w.
Antec makes great components, but never been a fan of their cases, you can do better for less.

Whats your "not going over this" budget? @$1,000 you're on the cusp of a decent Intel build.
And, does this budget include a copy of Windows 7?

I really appreciate your response. I did not understand what you meant about the CPU? Is the 6-core overkill? If it's overkill it's fine because I will be using this computer for a while and I don't feel like upgrading for 2-3 years.

I also wasn't so fond of the Hitachi, I just didn't put enough research into it. If I can shed some of these prices, I really want to shoot for a 64 GB SSD of some sort along with a 500 GB 7200 RPM HDD.

What do you think of the GFX card?

Any decent cases that you recommend? Also, I already have a copy of Windows 7 that I can use so that is not a worry. And my budget is probably $1000 before monitor, but the lower the better if I can get a nice bang for my buck.

If I were to go Intel, what would you recommend? Sorry for all the questions, but I need this to be perfect.

Edit: I switched out that Mobo because after reading some things, it feels like it would be too overkill so I switched out with its lil bro:

I switched out the power supply for the 750W, just in case for the future, which was $107, shedding $23.

what he meant with the cpu is that 6 cores for games is not needed, most games these days only support 4 cores, and you can do better for the money you have, go look at the Intel i5 2500k but you will need a p67 or z68 motherboard, which would be about 120 dollars. hitachi hard drive is perfectly fine.
the graphics card you have is perfectly fine but if you know a bit about computers than with the price you could go with a ati 6850 crossfired meaning 2 6850's. but if you dont know what crossfire means than dont worry about getting it and that graphics card will do, also you need to go on the internet and find out what the best driver for crossfire is as some games dont like it.
try to go for a corsair 650 -750 power supply as they will never let you down.
and for the computer case try to go with a coolermaster HAF model as they would be the best bet for cooling and best cable managment for the price.
pretty much this is all you need to do with your system

I like Vaheb's suggestion. The board is very nice as it supports pci-e 3.0 for future cards and was actually my board of choice but newegg.ca doesnt have it It performs on par with the asus p8z68 which is more expensive with less features. Also the board looks very sleek. 2500k is the cpu of choice currently as it overclocks like a madman. GTX 570 is a very good card and you can always sli is down the road when the cards get cheaper to get a decent video boost. If you can spare it, the HX750 is modular over the TX750, should only be roughly a 10$ difference. there are usually rebates around the HX versions too. Very nice build though
