how does INTEL HD4000 graphics compare to nvidia geforce 610M?

I hear that intel 4000 integrated graphics is better than nvidia geforce 610M but how do they compare in terms of CPU usage and overheating. Since the intel graphics are integrated I would assume that it would make it more prone to laptop overheating compared to a separate graphics card like the nvidia 610m, how do they stack up?

HD4000 gives better performance than the GT610M.
Example:
HD4000 gets 40fps in Skyrim on low, while GT610M gets 25fps.
HD4000 gets 35fps in MW3 on medium, while GT610M gets 25fps.

Because the HD4000 is integrated, it runs much cooler (and with less power usage) than using the GT610M, particularly since it means your laptop only needs to cool one component instead of two.

To summarise, if you have a choice between the two, HD4000 is the way to go.

If these are the options, I'd look at gaming on something else.
