- CPU fan - Cooler master mars 775
- mobo eVGA 122-ck-nf68-t1 nforce 680i 1333fsb
- 3 gig ram pc 6400 dd2 duel 800 channel
- GeForce 8800 GTS 640 mg

- 500 gb hitachi / ibm 7200 sata2. Udma 300 8m cache
- On bard sound card / basic DVD drive.
- Cooler master real power 850W ATX power supply.
- Cooler master stacker 330 black case

I really don't know that much about PC parts etc, but I have general idea on how to make it.

3 GB of RAM isn't a good idea. 2 or 4, I believe. 1 is fine but not good enough for your system.

Doesn't Windows XP only detect 3 gigs?

don't get the e6850, u can get a q6600 for the same price, don't get the 8800gts 640mb, u can get the 8800gt for less and it outpeforms it, Coolermaster don't have the best Units for PSU's see if u can get a Corsair 520 or PCPAP 610

u need 64bit Vista or XP to recognize 3 or more GB of RAM..

I recommend 4gb of RAM for Vista.. cuz it seems to like eating RAM, like a Couch Potato with Junk Food..

dont get the CM Stacker, go for a Centurion 5. More affordable and it's a nice case. I happen to have one lol.

I suggest

Q6600

4GB of Crucial Ballistix

Cooler MAser 690

Either Corsair 520HX or Pc Power and cooling 610.

Alos if you must have the eVGA 680I board do not get the T1 go for the A1 the A1 has been more tweaked by eVGA than the T1.

Also the eVGA's have been shown not to overlock well with quad cores but your choice.

Heatsink=TT120Extreme w/ 120mm fan

Thermal paste=MX-2

make sure you get DDR2 800 version of ballistix
for an OS i recommend vista premium 64-bit
and do you really need 680i?
a single 8800gt will do exemplary in most any game (execption: crysis)
this is a great mobo
