Question HELP! Videocard $200-240

Hi, im looking to upgrade my Video card from an ATI Radeon x300 (LOL) to something better i dont know... can you help me out?
price range is 200-240$

Current setup---

Motherboard/systemboard--- ASUS P5gd1-VM
Hard drive--160 gb @7200 RPM
2x512mb RAM DIMM
Video Card-- ATI Radeon X300

Windows XP PRO Version 2.0

GeForce 6800GS

Do you have PCI Express or AGP slot on your motherboard? I think right now they only have PCI-E but they are making AGP versions very soon.

eVGA 6600GT, It's not 200 or above but 150 instead. Id get it unless you are a hardcore gamer then go with something better.

the 6600GT is no longer the price/perfomance card anymore. the 6800GS is 200 bucks and performs almost the same as the 6800GT.

Go with the GS it will last you longer plus you can play games at higher detail.

A PCIx16 AND AGP motherboard?

Don't know of more than one, and the one isn't Intel. Are you sure you aeren't confusing PCIx16 with PCI?
