Anyways at stock speeds it does seem like the e6300 falls between the others. So if your buying prebuilt any of them would be good. But if your building defiently get the e6300 because it can overclock far beyond the amd cpu's.

dario 03 rockin this is exactly what i needed to see.
in essence:
the 5000+ is good....
in all these tests better than 6300.
but what i am seeing in addition is the absolute domination of the 6600 over the amd.
far better performance (especially in rts games, my favorite) than the 5000+, even the FX...
will investigate the difference in price of the 5000+ and the 6600.

Just give us a budget and make everything easier and build it your self or pay an extra 25 dollars for a PC techinican too.
