So I finally got overclocker ram in the new ocz platinum Customer Reviews Of OCZ Platinum Revision 2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail and I am wondering what the right voltage to set it up for ocing is. Any reccomendations? I have the asus p5n-esli mobo and i had the bios set to linked and increased the fsb to 1500mhz then it froze. Took out the new ram put back in the old and reset everything to default. I heard somewhere that ocz was kinda picky about voltages so what do you guys think?

1500Mhz!? Dude that RAM will not get that fast. That is almost double what it is rated at. The max you will get out of those should be ~1100Mhz. The only ram that gets that fast is either extreme OCing stuff of DDR3...

You will need a memory divider - i suggest 2/3 so you will come out with your ram at 1000Mhz.

ocz's can run 4-4-4-12 at 2 volts. I wouldn't put anything more than 2.1 if you need extra voltage for more overclocking room.
