Ok heres my problem, Ive used Dell for the last 7 years. But they have pissed me off one too many times! Good product, really bad service. No one even speaks english any more!

Back to my problem, I found a really great deal (Or so I think) on a Inspiron laptop.

Intel® Pentium® M Processor 760 (2 GHz/2MB Cache/533MHz
17 inch UltraSharp™ Wide Screen UXGA Display with TrueLife™
2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz 2 Dimm
256MB NVIDA® GeForce™ Go 6800
100GB 7200rpm Hard Drive
8x CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW) with double-layer write capability
Intel® PRO 2915 and Dell 350 Bluetooth Internal Wireless Cards
9-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery (80 WHr) w/ 128mb Memory Key
Genuine Windows® XP Media Center Edition 2005

This plus the Xtra crap dell throughs in but I got all this for $2150 shipped. Long story short Im looking to get away from Dell and on to someone else but I cant find anyone who can do even close to this for the same price. Ive even thought about just doing it my self Ive built desktops before but where do you buy laptop parts?

I don't think you can build a laptop like you can a desktop. At least it's not going to be easy. I've never see laptop motherboards for sale.

Yeah, its a great deal but Dell just isnt the company it used to be. The minute they take your money they could care less about supporting their product. Id rather spend a little more money with another company that will back up their computer.
