Help with new monitor (SM2494HS)

Just got my new Samsung full hd sm2494hs monitor.

I was wondering about the "Dynamic Contrast" profile.

Should i choose this as my default profile? Or would it damage the monitor to be at that mode for ever?

What are the pros and cons of this?

Or should i just use the default profile?

I read somewhere that this mode gives you the best colours....

What should i do?
