Question Help Needed

I recently built a new computer here are the specs

INNO3D 800GTS 640MB GeForce 8800GTS PCI-Express
Corsair HX-520 520W ATX Power Supply
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.40Ghz LGA775 CPU
Gigabyte GZ-FSCA1-ATB 3D Aurora Full Tower Case
Asus P5B-E P965 LGA775 ATX M/B
Pioneer DVR-212 8x/18x Dual Layer SATA DVD-RW
G.Skill 2GB-NT PC-5300 DDR2-667 RAM
WD WD3200KS 320Gb 16MB SATA-II HDD

When Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2 Is in its loading stages i hear this high pitched whining noise coming from the computer its only happens when the game is loading? Could it have something to do with the graphics card? Or another part of the system? I am very worried about this can any one help?

Open up the case and listen for it. I'd think its the hard drive.

It might be the gfx card fan. Most noise from computers come either from fans or hard drives and disk drives.

Yeh it could be the gpu fan going up to full speed, otherwise it might be the hard drive, because it happens during loading. Listen to it to find which one...

yeh i think its the graphics but the noise only happens with that game i can play much more powerful games like GRAW 2 and oblivion and the noise dosnt happen?? It cant be the graphics card fan running speeding up cause i can increase te fan speed using rivatuner and it dosnt sound like that at all
