I lost my PC to a lightning strike yesterday and I need to replace it. I haven't built a PC since this one in 2013 and I'm not sure what to look for in the new computer components today. I need the new build to be as good if not better in performance as the one I lost for $1100.00 or cheaper. I use it to stream and game. This is my build I lost.

CPU - Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W BX80637I53570K Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4000

GPU - EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti DirectX 11 02G-P4-3660-KR 2GB 192-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Ram - G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL

Mobo - ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

HD - Corsair Force Series GT 2.5" 120GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CSSD-F120GBGT-BK

Optical - ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Black SATA 24X DVD Burner - Bulk - OEM

PSU - CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650 650W ATX12V/EPS12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC High Performance Power Supply

OS - Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit

Case - Cooler Master Storm Scout SGC-2000-KKN1-GP Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU

MSI Arsenal Gaming B450 ATX mobo

16GB DDR4 RAM

Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti GPU

HP EX950 M.2 1TB SSD

Corsair PSU

Microsoft Windows 10

Use the same case

That should be within the 1100.

Here is the build. If you see anything I have wrong, please let me know. I just have 2 questions. (1) Will the Mobo and CPU work together? In the Spec for the Mobo it says it only supports 1st and 2nd gen CPU's. (2) Can you help me out with a PSU? So many different options and I want to make sure there will be enough power for OCing and I will have all the correct cables I will need for the build. Thanks!

From what I read online, that Mobo in my last post will work for 3rd gen but I will have to flash the bios. Is that right?

this power supply work?

Ok, I went with the same power supply, just the 750W version. Thanks Trotter! I appreciate your help very much.

Is it fine to just use the one HP EX950 M.2 1TB SSD for everything? My OS, games etc.....

Or is there a better way to configure the computer with more than one storage drive?

Personally I use an M.2 for my OS and main programs, a separate SSD for my games. a mechanical drive for mass storage and oddball apps, and a larger mechanical drive as my download repository.
