just my observation but he is likes to overclock and is indeed capable of overclocking then why would he be asking for help building a machine from scratch... no offense to you dude.

Most experienced builders, people who overclock tend to compose a list of components and slap it on here for us to pick apart.

I say spend less on your cpu and more on your video card.

My video card is worth twice as much as my cpu.

with ur budget, you should get a system you can overclock well. learn about overclocking it seems a lil intimidating at first, but its pretty ez after u ask a few (alot) of questions.
