I think i will wait for the i9 :] thats what i was hoping for, if its not out by Feb then ill just go with that i7

Well they're meant to be out in the first quarter of 2010, which could be jan, feb or march.

eh well in that case ill probably just go with the i7, i mean i dont want to be a guinnapig for the i9 anyways.

Any suggestions on a video card ? should i wait for the gtx300 or just nab a good one now ?

Probably best to get one of the ATi ones, like HD5870. Don't get it now unless you're able to use it now.
Assuming you're gaming with it, of course.

Personally I'd try the Gigabyte if you're adventurous. That chipset cooling thing is interesting, it'd be neat too see how well it works. Not to mention it looks sick. Otherwise the Asus P6T is an awesome board from what I've read, everyone seems to love it.

I agree, do you you see any major advantages in the P6t that i wouldntn have with the gigabyte? also, im probably gonna need a new PSU with that chipset cooling system. but thats not a problem
