1 for music, movies, documents etc... and 1 for games. Seemed like a good idea to keep everything "clean?".

Newegg.com - Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD6400AAKS 640GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - Internal Hard Drives
Not sure if this will put you a bit over budget, but for $10 more you could get twice the cache and just as much space.

Western Digital 640 GB 32mb Cache

Just got that one for my build. Actually, I think it was a Seagate.

EDIT: $5 more

Ok thank you very much. I really want to make sure I get a nice system for the right price. I changed the power supply and hard-drives and got the price down to $571 shipped.

About the RAM, currently I have 4 sticks of Newegg.com - CORSAIR XMS2 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

Would gkill PI black 2x2gb be alot better? Noticeable?

It has better timing, and overclocks better, other than that, you won't notice.

Ok so I am fairly confident with all your help I have put together a nice system. Only one thing I am worried about...my CPU...I got the Q6600 when I have learned the E8400 is better...is it worth returning the q6600 and getting the e8400?

q6600 is better at multi tasking and a few games and programs that are multi threaded so its still good. The e8400 would be better for gameing now but the q6600 may end up being better later. If you can't return without a restocking fee then I wouldn't bother but if you can then maybe.
