Dont owrry about prices , mostly just performance.

Asus or DFi mobo(any thoughts)

7800gtx 512(which one, was looking at evga)

Power supply (something that can support sli and lots and lots of random accessories )

Cpu(a dual core amd of some sort, since im doing alot of editing i would like if this could handle lots of programs at once.)

sound card? (what ever has the best sound for music and games.)

RAM(i want to oc it, and could some one verify if it is true that amd can only use ddr1 and xp can only handle 2 gigs)

Hard drives? (I dont know much about what is good)

disk drives(open to suggestion )

thanks so much

Power factor Correction

basically It allows power to be used more efficently.

If you want to learn more about PFC read this page.

If you want the second Best one, Overall I would go with the 600 Watt OCZ.

DFI is way better than Asus if you want to overclock. eVGA is the best for nvidia video cards so i'd go with them. Just as yo yo kid said, soundblaster x-fi is the best sound card out there. I'll leave the other components to my fellow TF buddies
