I can't tell you how sick I am of hearing this 3700+ vs. dual core battle. I think it's going on in like 4 different threads now.

I've read that Quake 4 and COD2 now have dual core patches. Also I found this list.

that lists games that supposdly support dual core, but this is from Intel's site. Don't know if Intel dual core is any different than AMD dual core.

for the most part yes...the only thing i would change would be that ddr500 ram but in the end it is up to you

Yea for AMD, stick with PC3200 memory. Or wait for Socket AM2 and get DDR2

socket am2 will be way overpriced in relation to socket 939 stuff

I am so confused. My friend has a 1600gt, 3500+, and 1gb os ****y ram and he plays BF2 graet. All highest settings, includng aa and af with zero lag. Plus his fps is usually around 60.Plus it looks better than my other friends alienware (i am not sure what he has in it though).
