I need help to put together a good PC build that will run Vista to its best and play any DX10 game that will be coming out. I live in a city near Toronto, Canada. So I would need it to be off of tigerdirect.ca I guess. I wouldn't like to spend more then 1200 bucks.

What I don't need:

GPU - Ill use my 6200 for Now, Ill get a DX10 one later
monitor
Speakers
Mouse
Keyboard
a OS

Thanks! any help would be greatly appreciated

Basically just go with a C2D setup with a motherboard that supports 1333 FSB for next gen Intel CPU.

I heard the EVGA 122-CK-NF68-AR is an awesome motherboard. If you have 1200 to spend on the core component you would have a powerful machine and still have some money left over.

CPU: C2D E6600
RAM: 2 GIG (2x1GIG dual channel) of DDR2 800

:D

Cool Thanks So far I got, Im willing to spend an extra 10 or 20 for a cool looking case, that you can see inside to.

CPU - Intel C2D E6600
RAM - 2 GIG (2x1GIG dual channel) of DDR2 800
HDD - 160GB
PSU - 420 Watt
GPU - Geforce 6200 ( For now will get a DX10 Later )
Mobo - ?
DVD-RW - ?
What else do I need?

Yep everything Canadian is expensive + the 14% tax rate. So can anyone suggest a mobo and dvd-rw
