Default Help with a low budget build

ok, I want to build a gaming / video editing computer on a pretty tight budget. I want the computer to have plenty of hard drive space (saving videos...) and I want enough RAM to play games (currently play WoW, but would like to play more, just don't have a good enough computer). I found a build in a tutorial somewhere on this site:

$600-700

Power: FSP Group AX400-PN $39.99 - $7.84
Newegg.com - FSP Group (Fortron Source) AX400-PN ATX12V 400W Power Supply 120/220 - 240v NEMKO, TUV, CSA, IEC, UL, CE - Retail

Components
Motherboard: BIOSTAR TFORCE 550 Socket AM2 $79.99
Newegg.com - BIOSTAR TFORCE 550 Socket AM2 NVIDIA nForce 550 MCP ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 3600+ Brisbane $59.00
Newegg.com - Buy Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more!
Ram: G.Skill 2GB HK's $114.99
Newegg.com - G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail
Graphics: EVGA 7900GS $124.99
Newegg.com - Buy Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more!

Drives
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB $67.99
Newegg.com - Buy Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more!
Optical: SAMSUNG Black 18X $29.99
Newegg.com - SAMSUNG Black 18X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 8X DVD+R DL 18X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 12X DVD-RAM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM 2M Cache E-IDE/ATAPI DVD Burner - OEM

Cooling
CPU Cooler: ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 64 Pro $24.99
Newegg.com - ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 64 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler - Retail
Totals $541.93 + Case + Shipping - Rebates

I didn't know what all I could get improved if my budget was $700 (without mouse, keyboard, and monitor)

I want a machine that can be easily upgraded... like if I want more hard drives, more ram, etc.

Ok, now to tell you what I want to do with it (which I'm not sure if I can do...) I want to dual boot Windows XP MC and Mac OS X. I heard that it is possible on Intel, so I might get Intel instead of AMD. I hope you guys can help me out... hopefully somebody has dual booted windows and mac.

(As some of you can probably tell, I have no clue what I need)

I'm not 100% sure which case I want to get yet, the Coolermaster Centurion 5 is definitly an option, but I like the looks of the NZXT Zero case. Tell me what you think of it, and if it would be worth the money:
Newegg.com - NZXT Zero Black/Silver Aluminum ATX Full Tower Computer Case - Retail

I just now noticed that some links are invalid... Like the cpu, graphics card, and hard drive. I found the items, but I'm not sure if they are the same or not. Hopefully you guys can tell me.

CPU: Newegg.com - AMD Athlon 64 X2 3600+ Brisbane 1.9GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM2 Processor - Retail
Graphics: Newegg.com - EVGA 256-P2-N625-AR GeForce 7900GS 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail (out of stock...)
Hard drive: Not sure... All I can find is the OEM, is this what I want? and do I want ATA or SATA?

I realise that it'll be big, but I don't mind, and from reviews, I hear the fans are pretty quiet.

Ok, I found another case that might do the job. The NZXT Blackline
Newegg.com - NZXT LEXA BlackLine Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail -- $99.99

^^ although I'm still leaning toward the NZXT Zero...

I also noticed that the video card is now a higher price, unless I'm missing something...

EDIT: woops, didn't mean to double post....

EDIT2: Ok, I put everthing into a temporary wishlist to see how much it would be... came out to be $802.41

1. NZXT Zero Case -- $159.99 - $10 (instant rebate)
2. BIOSTAR TFORCE 550 Socket AM2 NVIDIA nForce 550 MCP ATX AMD Motherboard -- $79.99
3. EVGA 256-P2-N625-AR GeForce 7900GS 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card -- $229.99
4. FSP Group (Fortron Source) AX400-PN ATX12V 400W Power Supply -- $43.99 - $4 (instant rebate)
5. AMD Athlon 64 X2 3600+ Brisbane 1.9GHz Socket AM2 Processor Model ADO3600DDBOX -- $61.50
6. G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-6400CL4D-2GBHK -- $149.99 - $45.00 (instant rebate)
7. Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3250410AS 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM -- $69.99
8. SAMSUNG 18X DVD±R DVD Burner With 12X DVD-RAM Write Black E-IDE/ATAPI Model SH-S182D/BEBE - OEM -- $29.99
9. ARCTIC COOLING MX-1 Thermal Compound -- $5.99
10. ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 64 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler -- $29.99

Total: $802.41

Did I get everything right? It was only supposed to come to $541.93, but mine came to $646.43 which is over $100 more than expected, anybody know why? (btw, mentioned in one of my posts, some items were no longer there or something so I searched for them and tried my best to find the closest one)

i suggest going with the coolermaster centurion 5. i just bought one and am putting my moms rig together in it...it is AWESOME. the fans are really quiet, there is plenty of room, it looks fantastic (i got the one with no window)..etc etc i cant say enough about it.
i am hard pressed not to take it for myself and give my mom my rosewill case lol.
i'll just buy myself another one i guess...i mean its REALLY nice.
plus, its like a hundred dollars cheaper than that nxzt case, which is a full tower, which you definitely do NOT need for a build like yours (no offense i have a kinda similar build...what i mean is, it just doesnt need a case that big). and the centurion looks much better IMO...that nxzt is fugly.
this ram is a whole lot cheaper than that gskill (has a 40.00 MIR) and will do the same timings:
Newegg.com - CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail
this 7900gs is 100 dollars cheaper than that evga:
Newegg.com - Foxconn FV-N79SM2D2-OC GeForce 7900GS 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Supported Video Card - Retail
dont get me wrong i have/love evga products...i just think they are gouging on their 7900gs cards. my first one (last year) didnt even cost as much as they want for them now. i mean with sixty more of the dollars that i just saved you, you could get this card:
Newegg.com - EVGA 320-P2-N811-AR GeForce 8800GTS 320MB 320-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail
it will pretty much own a single 7900gs.
if you are looking to save money though, get the foxconn 7900gs, or the bfg 7900gs (on newegg).
