2 gig of dual channel ram
2 dvd burners
(1) 80 gig hard drive
(1) 250 gig hard drive

could you please tell me what u think.

selection could have been better.
You should have went dual core. and the fact that you picked a FX-55 which is fast and made for OC'n wont be used to its full extent due to the 6600.
The mobo wont be used to its full extent either cos its made for SLI and a SLI'd 6600's are crap. definately could have been alot better selection.

FX-55 + 6600 = odd

Is that just an interim card until you can afford a better one? Waiting for new cores?

y wont they work that fast together. that is what newegg put together as a combo package.

i do a lot of design work not gaming.

could you go in to depth on the stuff u think is not good. the video is just to get me buy until i get some $$

That stuff is good. The processor is very fast - they're just saying that it's not as future-proof as a dual-core. But then again, "future-proof computer" is an oxymoron. So don't worry about it, especially since you're not gaming. That computer is very nice.
