I've purchase the following motherboard GIGABYTE B360 HD3 (https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/B360-HD3-rev-10#support-cpu) and an intel i3-8100 95W processor from amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0759FTRZL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I am confused because gigabyte specifies that this motherboard will support i3-8100 but 65Watts but the one I purchased is 95Watts. I thought an i3-8100 is an i3-8100. How is it that there is a 65 Watt and a 95 Watt model? Will these two products go together?

Yeah Amazon specs are iffy most of the time. For example, scroll to the "More Technical Details" section, and you'll see it lists this:

"1 Lithium ion batteries required. "
