Default help buying hdd's

currently i have an i7 and gtx286ssc. i have a slow old hdd and want to raid 2 drives so as to split the data between both. i need speeeeeeed. can anyone recommend me a drive (ide buy 2) to buy. my price range is only like up to 150. whats the best I can do for that range? any comments are greatly appreciated.
