Im from the UK

I still don't see why 2 contacts would make a difference but
with this thermal paste bull would i be able to apply it to the processor directly rather then on the heatsink like AMD had otherwise i won't be able to align it properly as i have installed the motherboard and most stuff

How comes this particular paste does not need to be spread out as much as the AMD's one? It seemed to only be a splodge in the middle?

Also you say alcohol to clean the processor (and/or heatsink) - what kind of alcohol?

Rubbing alchol and the reson you only need it in the middle is the core is in the middle under the heat seperator.

Ah i see... so the metallic cover is not the core itself.

Im guessing this Arctic Silver 5 is much better quality then the AMD's one so this might be a benefit to me anyway.

I just hope i dont need a lot of room because i can't be unscrewing the motherboard again

Just to check: It doesnt matter if im using the X2 does it?

No just put 1/2 a BB in the center of the cpu and lay the heatsink on it just like it says on there sight. And yes AS5 is better than the thermal pad that comes stock..
