heatsink/ compound

i have a 3500+ single core with the stock heatsink and fan. when i idle its about 31 how much would it help if i put the artic 5 thermal compound. or how much difference if i get a new heatsink and fan with the compund??

I if you were to buy a Big typhoon or cnps9500 or Freezer 64 pro with some as5, you would see at least a 12 degree Celcius tempeture drop at least...I mean if your using stock heatsink with stock compound on it....

You woud be very lucky to see a 12 degree drop,I put in a Freezer 64 pro in my setup and only saw a 4* drop.
