I've got a 7200.11 drive as well. Top notch performance. 32mb offers very little real-world performance gain, only theoretical.

they fixed the Firmware now.

i knew about that problem but its fixed now and i've not heard anybody say anything about said "clicking or dieing"

A lot of Seagate fanboys here

Try to check for reviews for WD 640GB

Even though WD 640GB has 16MB it outperforms Seagate 7200.11

Personally, I would buy WD 640GB because it is faster and has 140GB extra storage

i've seen more failed wd hard disks than any other brand. i've had several seagates and never had any problems. in fact, i have a 6 gig seagate that still works perfectly to this day.
