My HDD is coming up as the fourth master instead of the primary master. I'm using SATA. My DVD-RW comes up as the second master primary. In addition, should I see the floppy on that list also?
I should mention that I'm using a Western Digital 80GB HD with 7200 RPM with SATA.
Connected to the hard drive are a SATA cable that came with the motherboard and a SATA power connecter that came in the case. Should there be something else connected, and if so, what is it?
My MB is the MSI K8N Neo4-F Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4-4X ATX AMD BTW.
Also, I kinda had to force the HD into the case because the HD was too big. It did some cosmetic damage I do believe because it scratched off some paint, but the MB still recognizes the HD as an 80GB HD.
