ever handle movie files in their raw format. I have and i usally have nothing left. Oh and believe me, I have gone back many times and needed those raw movie files and sighed, because i didn't have room for them :-/

it's blu-ray and HD dvd, right? those are the two main new future dvds out at the moment.

get the 500gb Samsung for $99!!! I just ordered mine, and I have a feeling it's going to be awesome... LOL. Just get two of them to have 1TB for $200, saves you like $150 bucks than buying a TB HDD.

edit: dang, it'll actually save you about $170... just buy two of the Samsungs!
