Hardware internet problem

Well, I got a new rig and i decided to try it out by using the internet. So i tried and it didn't work. Then i moved my comp back to next to my router. The internet worked fine line nothing happened. Then i moved my comp back and the internet failed again. Can anybody tell me whats going on?

Do you have wireless I assume? What kind of connection do you have, and what router setup?
