Default harddrive

hey everyone..i just have a simple question..
i just bought from bestbuy a seagate barracuda ultra ata/100 7200 rpm with 8mb cache 120 gb for $35 after rebates..i was wondering what do you think?is it a good deal?is this a good harddrive?

Great price! Seagate is a good brand to have.

120G Drive on newegg is around $70-$80 plus shipping so you got a great deal

i wuold have went with sata150 or II but that is a really good price for 120GB

i would have 2 although i dont know what is the diff but most threads reccomended sata drives...but that is the only thing that they hade on sale ,and it kind cought my eye..i mean 35 for 120 i thought that wasnt a bad deal...i even went on one of thier laptops and cheked newegg..lol..
i also found a 200 gig maxtor for $30 but i heard alot of bad things about it..so i went with the 120 seagate..lets just hope i made the right choice

Some people, well most people have bad luck with Maxtor. I my self have had nothing but great experience with there products.

I have had horrible experiences with maxtor and now I dont even consider them an option for hard drives, seagates are one of the best hard drives out there, you wont regret it!
