Ok, had my pc working from friday. Been on it most of today. its been on all day.
About 20mins ago it music stopped playing and about 10 seconds later windows froze. Blue screen.
I was very scared
anyway rebooted and it said something along the lines of "Instert corect media". Couldn't get past this point. Put my windows disk in to see if it would boot. It did but the harddisk was missing and there was no where to install windows.
Just had the side off, played with the cables.

Didn't expect it to work, turned pc on to see it it even would still boot, so worried that something was drasically wrong.
Went out the room to get some food came back in and there it was waiting for me to long.
Now in anyones experiance how in this world can a cable come lose like that? I have a small feeling that the joints on the disk may be dry or the cables are at fault. Should i investigate futher? I'm possibly being pedantic but i don't like the the idea of losing data or possibly lossing it in the future
