All high end HDDs perform the same. The 1TB Seagate is 69 right now on Newegg.

Barracuda is just the name for their line of consumer desktop HDD's. Like WD's is Caviar.

Here you go drop down 66.99 with shipping and its yours.
Western Digital WD AV-GP WD10EURX 1TB IntelliPower 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive - Newegg.com
Sure its not a wstern digital black version, but they perform much more better than it.
I have one inside my machine since 12/27/2013.
The speed is amazing all I use it for is minor video archiving and my documents backups every 4 months.

Good luck malcom.

The only one on there for that price and it's even 5 bucks cheaper today lol.

Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive - Newegg.com

I actually own an older version of this model. Been going strong for 5 years now in 24/7 use.
