Hard Drive Speed

What would be a faster drive, one with 300MB/s bandwidth(3G), 7200rpm, and 8MB cache or one with 150MB/s bandwidth, 7200rpm, and a 16MB cache?

None even reach the SATA 150 specification. Not even the Raptor.
The only difference that will speed up sata 2 is NCQ.

So what your saying is that no drives even use the entire SATA150 bandwidth so 3G doesn't make a difference? What about the cache size, will 16MB make a difference over 8MB?
