Hard drive question

I need to get another hard drive. Transferring all the videos I take on the camcorder has filled up my current hard drive.

I have this mobo

What I'm not sure about is if this hard drive http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822144417 will work with it. The mobo says sata150, but the hard drive is 3gb/s.

If it does work will I need a special adapter to power the hard drive. I have an ATA150 Western Digital hard drive here that uses the standard 4 pin molex connector, but it doesn't say whether or not that hard drive uses that type of connector.

Yeah, that HDD is compatible. The thing is, you need to look at your PSU and see if they have any power connectors that are black in color and long and skinny. If your PSU doesn't have any of those built in, then you'll need an adapter. It'll turn a molex port into a SATA power source. Here's one that's out of stock on newegg:

seems like your mobo doesnt support SATA II but sata II is backwords compatible with sata150 but looks good to me
