Hard Dizzle Drives

depends upon what you are backing up.

I just back up pictures, home movies and data.

I run a xcopy batch file that does incremental backups of the selected folders.

I prefer having the actual files on my backup versus some backup file that has to be accessed to retrieve my data.

I am a bit paranoid and keep one hard drive at a family members house just in case. It is the documentation of my children entire lives.

I've gotten past the idea of off-site backup... it's just not realistic for me. However, I would like my data backed up in case of hard drive failure.

Most of the files I back up are music, videos, pictures, and website files. There's some other random stuff in there, but that's the bulk of it.

oh and I also backup all of my CD's into iso's... so that'll be like double backed up :p
